Book Prizes
The Weed Society of Victoria awards annual book prizes to promote interest in weeds and weed science among students and provides travel grants to encourage and assist participation in National conferences.
These are awarded to students at the Melbourne University Institutes of Land and Food Resources who demonstrate excellence in some part of their course work. Usually the award is for an outstanding weed collection.
Honorary Membership
The Society can elect people who have made a major contribution to the Society and to Weed Science as Honorary Members.
