Weed Society History
Society Activities
The Society was founded in 1966 and its activities include:
- Hosting major conferences.
- Making annual awards to student for weed collections and projects.
- Providing awards for travel to attend the triennial Australian Weeds Conferences.
- Conducting community workshops on weeds to assist in management and raise awareness.
- Providing policy advice to State and Federal authorities.
