Members are invited to attend monthly Executive Meetings and the annual program of events including workshops, conferences and field days.

Keep up to date with Society news and developments in the weed world with the bi-monthly newsletter, Weedscene . Past issues of the newsletter can be accessed under the Weedscene Archive within the Publications link of this website.
Publications
The Society publishes various books, brochures and proceedings at reduced rates for Society members

The Society can host links to member's websites on weed related matters.
Who Can Join?
There is no restriction on Membership of the Society; if you have an active interest in any aspect of weeds, then the Weed Society of Victoria is the place for you.
Fees
- Joining fee $0
- Ordinary membership: $55 p.a.
- Student membership: $20 p.a.
- Corporate membership: $130 p.a.
- International Weed Science Society: $35 p.a.
Membership Types
Ordinary Membership
Available to any person at $55 per annum. Ordinary Membership applications must be approved by the Executive Committee.
Student Membership
Available to any student at $20 per annum. Student applications must be approved by the Executive Committee.
Corporate Body Membership
Available to corporate bodies at $130 per annum. Corporate Members may nominate one representative who shall have the same rights as an ordinary member.
International Weed Science Society Membership
The International Weed Science Society (IWSS) is an international society that is open for membership at $35 to all Weed Society of Victoria members. The IWSS hosts the International Weed Control Congress every four years, which members are invited to attend. The venue changes for each Congress: the 2008 conference was held in Vancouver, Canada.
The 6th International Weed Science Congress (IWSC) will take place in Hangzhou, China. 17-22 June, 2012. For information see the Second Circular.
Honarary Membership
The Society can elect as Honorary Members people who have made a major contribution to the Society and to Weed Science.
